ShuBee Ranks in Inc. Magazine's 500/5000


Macon firm named on Inc. magazine list
Macon-based ShuBee has been listed on Inc. magazine’s annual list of the top 5,000 fastest-growing private companies.
ShuBee was ranked 4,718th overall and 525 for the business products and services industry for 2011, according to a news release. This is the third consecutive year ShuBee has been on Inc.’s list. It was ranked 4,804th in 2010 and 4,828th in 2009.
The company, founded in 2000, sells shoe covers, safety supplies and other products used by plumbing/HVAC professionals and related industries, according to the magazine.
The company, which has 19 employees, grew by 11 percent from 2007 to 2010, when revenue grew from $3.6 million to $4 million, according to the magazine.
ShuBee was the only company headquartered in Middle Georgia to make the list.
ShuBee and the rest of the 5,000 businesses that made the list will be honored at the 30th annual Inc. 500/5000 conference and awards ceremony next month in Washington, D.C.
