MEDC staff and board members were among this spring's graduates of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development
The Board of the Georgia Academy for Economic Development announces Bibb County graduates from the 2014 Region 6 Multi-Day Training Program. Class participants represented a number of professional and non-professional economic development fields, including elected officials, public servants, business leaders, educators, and social service providers from eleven counties in Middle Georgia. The Academy provided each of the graduates an opportunity to gain a unique understanding of the complexities of economic and community development on the local, regional, and state levels.
MEDC Manager of Business and Industry, Ashley Brown, MEDC Executive Assistant, Marty Koplin and MEDC Board Member and Macon-Bibb County Convention & Visitors Bureau President & CEO, Monica Smith were among this spring's graduates.
