Middle Georgia Printing Cooperative announces its location in Macon-Bibb

Middle Georgia Printing Cooperative, a venture of Smith Communications, Inc. and Community Voice Media, LLC (CVM), will print and distribute weekly newspapers and publications in the middle Georgia region. Smith Communications, Inc. headquartered in Eatonton, Ga., with offices in Lake Oconee and Madison, has been publishing since 1958.  Their The Eatonton Messenger has been published since 1860.  Middle Georgia Printing Cooperative's mission is to serve the local community by providing timely information about the news and events that affect us locally.

Middle Georgia Printing Cooperative has also partnered with Walter Geiger of The Barnesville Herald-Gazette and Will Davis of The Monroe County Reporter to purchase a 50,000 sq. ft. facility in the Airport Industrial Park for their operations. Plans are to invest over $1.5 million and a retain 20 – 30 employees.
Josh Lurie, Publisher of The Jones County News, will oversee the Macon facility.
