Plan to attend the press conference 8:30 am Monday April 29, 2013 to learn more

Atlanta-based consulting firm, Market Street Services, a national community and economic development consulting firm, has been retained by the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Macon Economic Development Commission, Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority, the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, Georgia Power, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

 “This is the next step in an ongoing effort to make Macon and Bibb County as competitive as possible for new jobs, talent and corporate investment,” chamber President and CEO Mike Dyer said. “This economic development strategy and its subsequent implementation will ensure that the necessary actions are taken to attract and create quality jobs and to maintain and grow a talented workforce, now and in the future.”
